Dear Potential Wyandanch Family & Recognition Day Parade Participant:
It’s that time again! The Wyandanch Family Day celebration is just around the comer. We are happy to announce that we will be celebrating on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, and rain date will be June 20th, 2026.
We welcome your group/organization’s participation in our parade. We welcome bands, sports teams, cheerleaders, twirlers (baton and flag), steppers, school queens and kings and dance teams to take part in our parade. We also welcome faith-based organizations, elected officials, civic organizations, local businesses, and school board representation. There will be time slots for participants in which you will be able to display your performance/routines.
Our parade will travel from parking lot on North 18th St. in Wyandanch, NY and will travel down Straight Path to Wyandanch Park. The walking distance will be approximately 2.5 to 3 miles (be sure that your members can safely participate).
We look forward to having you participate in this wonderful parade which will allow your group/organization exposure to Wyandanch and surrounding communities. To secure your space and participation in the parade, a parade participation form must be completed.
If you would like to participate in the Wyandanch Family & Recognition Day Parade, please complete the parade application form and return it to me on or before 04/30/2026. Please complete the form to the best of your ability as it helps us with parade placement information. The form can be emailed to parade@wyandanchday.org or wfrdparade@gmail.com.
